University of Science, Vietnam National University

The project develops skin wound healing technology using a stem cell spray gun along with stem cell products and nano products, and uses biological nano membranes sprayed with a hand-held electrospinning device to create artificial skin which helps protect the wound and supports the wound healing process, reducing pain and costs for the patient.

Main tasks of the project

  • Develop a stem cell spray gun that can spray a combination of different solutions such as stem cell solution, stem cell extract, nano products, etc. to quickly heal open wounds.
  • Develop a hand-held electrospinning device to create biological nanofilms for wound coating.
  • Develop bio-nano membranes capable of covering wounds like artificial skin to support wound healing.

Project impact

The project aims to create a set of potential products to help people with open wounds reduce pain and costs during treatment, help heal difficult-to-heal wounds, thus reduce the load on the healthcare system, increase the quality of life and the psychological and physiological effects of patients.
