VINIF.2019.DA08 – Big data analytics based optimization of process parameters for a smart manufacturing shop floor consisting of a CNC machine and a Robot

The goal of the project is to develop a method to optimize the production process based on Big data technology combined with Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence, applied to systems with the application of Robots and CNC machines. From there, design and realize a CPS model including 1 CNC machine and 1 welding robot for testing, real-time sampling processing to build big data, and optimize the working parameters of Robots and CNC machines, applying testing algorithms for prediction, identification, optimal calculation, monitoring and diagnosis of system errors.

Experimental models and optimization algorithms are applied to improve the weld quality of the Robot, the machining accuracy of the CNC machine, saving production time, energy, raw materials as well as minimizing waste products of smart production systems with CNC machines and Robots in the automobile industry, machine tool production lines…

The configuration of the Welding Robot with additional sensors and actuators combined with optimal algorithms will be tested in the welding line of mechanical factory No. 17, Dong Xuan, Soc Son, Hanoi.
