The project aims to create an automatic air-powered manipulator product with high power assist efficiency of 90 – 97%. Control the worker’s load within allowable limits. The application of powered manipulators in production can create a more friendly working environment, reduce the risk of occupational diseases for workers, and improve the stature of Vietnamese people.
The project is in conjunction with the Institute of Mechanical Engineering – Hanoi University of Science and Technology with the goal of training human resources to design and manufacture not only industrial manipulators and manipulators but also other related products. The invested equipment not only serves manufacturing purposes but also serves as a practice center for University students.
The project’s expected products have high applicability and good commercial viability, which is a premise to focus on building a commercial network, gradually building a strong brand in the Vietnamese economy.
Expected results of the project
Creating a set of technology processes on processing, manufacturing automatic air-powered industrial manipulators with high power-assisted performance (the set of technology processes are appraised by a panel of domestic experts) based on ISO design standards, TCVN lifting equipment safety standards, and current labor safety standards.
Manufacturing 03 sets of sample products:
- 01 column-type manipulator demo product that supports lifting up to 300 kg, reach of 3 meters, maximum assistance level of 98%
- 01 demo product of glass vacuum cleaner arm with load capacity up to 300 kg with maximum assistance level of 98%
- Demo product for 01 manipulator to support gun installation for screw tightening guns with maximum tightening force: 400 N.m with power assistance ability of up to 97%
