Research and complete technology for analyzing and purifying active ingredients from herbs and low-energy emulsifying nanotechnology to produce pharmaceuticals, cosmetics and regimens for use in high-tech agriculture from natural compounds and agriculture are areas where Vietnam can create competitive advantages in international markets. This is also a field with huge and growing domestic demand. However, the field of cosmetic pharmaceuticals from natural active ingredients in Vietnam is almost undeveloped. One kind of product that Vietnam has strengths and is quite rich in is agricultural product. However, these applied products are often of low quality, especially difficult to export when they have high content of plant protection and preservative. One of the causes of this phenomenon is that our production technology has not really created a competitive advantage for the product in terms of quality and price. This makes technology selection and research not really effective. So in the scope of this project, we focused on developing and perfecting 3 core technologies:
- Technology for analyzing active ingredients in medicinal essential oil;
- Technology for extracting and recovering the azadiractin active ingredient from Indian Neem tree seeds to produce highly active neem oil;
- Low-energy emulsion nanotechnology to develop pharmaceutical and cosmetic products and some plant protection products.
The application of these three technologies in this project will be the foundation for developing product lines and allowing the project to:
- Large-scale production with centralized factories using raw materials from many different regions
- Producing natural ingredients from high purity essential oils.
- Create natural and effective cosmetic product lines and plant protection products.
Based on the research results from the project, the Company and the project team have implemented cooperation in technology development and production with a number of partners specializing in manufacturing and supplying products and equipment on request and design (OEM) for distribution partners in Canada. Project to deploy high-quality pharmaceutical processing in the Central Highlands.
