03 Scientific Research Talent Camps will be carried out in 2026-2027 academic year in the following areas:
1. Final-year students, master’s students, young lecturers and scientists with outstanding academic and research achievements. Proved evidence of published Scopus indexed scientific papers is an advantage.
2. Candidates having clear and long-term research orientation or having the intention to pursue Master’s or PhD programs at a prestigious university.
1. Mandatory participation in intensive Summer or Winter School courses.
2. Minimum GPA of 8.0/10 or 3.2/4.0 for relevant core major subjects at undergraduate level.
3. Cumulative GPA (CGPA) of 8.0/10 or 3.2/4.0 at undergraduate or Master’s level.
4. English Proficiency: IELTS 6.0+, TOEFL iBT 70+, or TOEIC 680+. Candidates without a certificate must pass the program’s internal English proficiency test (Online TOEIC, Reading & Listening).
Note: Candidates possessing Scopus indexed papers in relevant fields are exempt from Criterion 2.
1. Relevant technical knowledge (30%).
2. Cognitive and analytical skills (30%).
3. Research experience, potential for research capacity development and long-term commitment to scientific research (20%).
4. English proficiency (20%).
1. Successful candidates will receive financial support of 25 million VND per person for the entire camp period including summer/winter school intensive training and online/onsite research mentorship phase.
2. The funding will be disbursed in two installments:
a) First installment: 50% after signing Attendance Agreement.
b) Second installment: Remaining 50% upon closing of research camp and liquidation of Attendance Agreement
1. April – June 2026: Application and selection
2. From June 2026: signing of Attendance Agreement.
3. Intensive Summer School: Specialised intensive training (tentatively June – August 2026).
4. Research mentorship of 10-11 months (online/onsite dependent on agreed work plan withsupervising Professor/mentor, tentatively August 2026 – June 2027).
